I reported the problem I had through your website and have not received acknowledgement to date. I have also reported the problem to Underwater Phantasea in Lakewood Colorado. Also, no response. Here is the issue and suggest you advise any owners of the Magnum BCD. The plastic pads, the tank straps (2) pass through to secure the tank to the BCD is of insufficient strength and actually becomes brittle over time. So brittle you can easily break it with just hand pressure. Owners should be advised to inspect this area before use. Typically this area is not because the typical mounting systems are strong enough to support most tanks in production today. I only use 80cf aluminum tanks and what happened to me was not anticipated. In all the years I have been an instructor I have never seen this problem occur. The construction is insufficient for the weight it is expected to handle. I suggest you advise your dealers to advise their customers to just inspect or have it inspected before use. Spencer

Very interesting you did not receive my email, because my message was sent via your site www.sherwoodscuba.com/contact.php. Now I am further confused who is mauriciomoreno@cramerdecker.com. Does he work for Sherwood? You have obviously received my message above, pass it onto whoever works for you and alert the divers owning this particular piece of bad engineering before someone is hurt. Sincerely Spencer

Hi Spencer,
I'm the head technician for the water sports division at Cramer Decker; Sherwood Scuba is part of it. What we've received are your posts here in SB, but nothing from our website. When you have a chance please contact me at the provided e-mail so I can assist you?

Sincerely,
Mauricio Moreno
