My BF ordered a HP STEEL 100 at the Sport Chalet Tent Sale in HB. What are the specs on the tank (weight full/empty, buoyancy etc.)?

Also, what are the specs on the HP STEEL 80? I am interested in getting one.

I cannot find any information on the website.

I tried to send an message via the website, but the reCAPTCHA is not working correctly. Even when you input it (using the visual version) correctly (tried many, many, many times) it says it has been input incorrectly. The audio version is unintelligible.

      Thank you.

I posted this in the forum and someone said the short answer is "yes" but I wanted to check with you before I start messing about with my console:

"I have a Sherwood SPG that came installed in a gauge console (including computer and compass). I would like to remove the SPG and run it separately outside of the console. Can I just pull back the hose protector, unscrew the hose and remove the gauge from the console? Can I then run the SPG off a separate high pressure hose with no risk to the gauge?"

Just moved back to the gulf coast of Fl. and started working at a shop in cave country. They are a Sherwood dealer and as such would like to see all employees with Sherwood gear. What reg. would YOU recommend. Everyone seems to have a particular favorite but not much other than that;s what I started using back when. The situation I see most is very fine sand particles in EVERYTHING. Many times this gets someplace that causes a free flow. Rental gear seems especially to suffer this problem. Thanks for the feed back.

would you be able to send me a link to download the driver needed for my wisdom 1
I have wisdom 1 computer and I just purchased the cable and sw version 1.0.0
I own a mac book pro that has parallels on it which allows me to have windows XP on my mac comp. So I have dl'ed the software and got an error message that read USB interface NOT FOUND, reading the problems on this board I assumed I might need the latest version, and that is where my problems exist.
I live 20 miles from the closest town and am on satellite internet, I can open the first page of sherwood scuba on my Mac side with no problem at all and get to the download page. Even dl'ed it to the mac side without thinking. (I know it isn't compatible) but when I go to my windows side and go to the sherwood site I don't get the whole page downloaded and am unable to get to the download page to get to the link. and this is what I am hoping yo can help me with.
Do you think that the error I had is due to a faulty cable?

I know you have answered the same ? for a diver in the past, however; I explained to my LDS (because I read your last post to this question less than a year ago) that my Sherwood computer The Source could have the battery replaced by sending back for service and that I was willing to pay the fee involved. Dolphin Scuba here in Sacramento, flat out refused and said that they not only as an Authorized Sherwood Dealer refused to send it in for me to have the battery replaced but also refused to show me how to do it. My computer still has a slight charge left on the battery but is obviously going to die completely soon and it's in almost perfect condition and hardly used. Please help me change the battery, I spoke to everyone there at Dolphin all the way up to management, I can't believe there response that Sherwood has fazed this computer out and are unwilling to change a simple battery, I paid good money for this computer, even though it's a dinosaur! thanks, Chris Walker

I have been given a Sherwood Magnum Blizzard regulator/Octo.
It functions in the pool but I wanted it looked at before trusting it in real water.
My local diveshop says it's not worth his while to service it. (SRB3200-3300)
We don't have a lot of choice in Dive shops here either.
      Any advice?

    Rebreather Experience:
In 1955, Sherwood, a respected manufacturer of air and gas management equipment, was asked to make regulator components to be used in a thrilling new sport called scuba diving. From that moment, Sherwood and scuba were inseparable. Sherwood parts went into almost every regulator made across two decades. Divers all over the world staked their lives on Sherwood dependability and durability. And Sherwood delivered. In 1972, Sherwood launched its own brand, which now includes a full line of dive equipment, all continuing the long tradition of simplicity and reliability. For 50 years, divers have counted on Sherwood equipment for dependable performance in all conditions. And that trust is something we’ll keep earning, dive after dive, for the next 50 years and beyond.
