I was wondering if anyone has any pockets on the backplate and wing? I don't want weight pockets but I would like to have a pocket on the side of the waist webbing to put a backup light in or to hold any little treasures I find. Any suggestions would be great.

Halcyon makes such a right side pocket. It is ridiculously expensive and I like my overpriced Irikonji shorts much better. There's surely a cheaper version of the Halcyon right side pocket somewhere, though, if you really want your pocket space hanging off your rig rather than in shorts form.

I have a Halcyon one that I bought off eBay, It is fine. Here is a more reasonably priced pocket.

X's scuba zephyr pocket.

Not always. Sometimes a back up light in a pocket makes sense. I have seen diver with short torso's have issues with lights stored the way most think. Depends on the light. I keep one on a d ring and one in a thigh pocket.

Well I will keep the backup in the pockets because it is only in case I drop or lose my main light. I don't wreak dive, cave dive or night dive. I think it will be fine in a pocket. The light is only used to look under rocks while looking for fish
