Besides Millbrook and Rawlings, does anyone know of any deep quarries / Lakes in this area that would give us 60 plus depth?

dutch springs in PA is 90-105 ft and its pretty clear. there is another on in PA called bainbridge quarry that is 120 but I have never been there. Supposedly they are both really nice. I plan to visit them both this summer.

Bainbridge in pa is about 110-120'deepest part, its about an hour from baltimore, been there in december, dutch springs is closer to ny, wouldnt drive 3-4hrs to look at wet rocks :)

Supposedly you can get to upwards of 300 ft at Summersville Lake in WV. I've never been there.

Dutch Springs is a great dive and worth driving to IMHO at least once. But I was looking for something closer like 2 hour drive from my Woodbridge area.

I have researched diving in the area quite a bit and not once had I considered WV as a place to dive. I have not idea why. Sinbad may not like them but are there any other good dive spots in WV?

I am open to diving in WV and all other places but Sommersville lake is a good 5 plus hours away. This for me is the drive to North Carolina shipwrecks and I was looking for a shorter drive :D

I heard about that sub and was actually scheduled to dive it last year but then I was told that the vis on that sub is not good enough for photography. I may still give it a dive someday just because I like subs.

Well if its that far I agree NC is a much better site. As for photo opportunities IDK about any of the quarries so im of little help. Millbrook had decent vis when I went but I've heard that was a lucky day lol

Is Guppy Gulch still operating? That should be a little closer than Bainbridge.

Guppy isclosed as far as iknow, sub in potomac usually has1-2 ft of vis
