Oh, jeez.... Now you've done it...
Lionfish Xcalakoko at La Perlita. Seriously. Just do it. Oh, my, I just drooled on myself thinking about it....
Ahi Tuna at Kondesa. Really good. My buddy was with us and said, 'Jefe, you should send that back, they didn't cook it.'
Queso Fundido, Kondesa style. A bit more fancy.....
Lionsfish Poppers, at Kondesa. Doing my part!
Ok, it is ugly. But mere hours before it was swimming before we pulled it in the boat, drove it to Parrilla Mission and ask them to cook it. TASTY.....
Dessert at La Cocay. Nice little bit of ice cream, SERIOUSLY fancied up for Navidad. Not a huge portion. Just what I was looking for.
Breakfast at Buccanos. Who has a club sandwich? Susanita. She loves a club and said it was terrific.
Buccanos breakfast quesadillas. Seriously I love 'em. That gorgeous remolade with a rich, spicy kick. Habenero 'dots' around the plate for a little kick. Yum.
Niece and nephew vote for the chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries and coconut ice cream. Sure, Bucannos, call that breakfast and who wouldn't love it.
Money Bar, Nachos. says it all...
The crabby omelet croissant at the Museo. Museum Restaurant.
Fratellis. The pizza place at Calle 8 and Avenida 10. Doesn't get the love it should. Slather on the Jugo.
Found these too. Lionfish shishkabobs. Good too.
You know I didn't mention at Bucannos they have a fixed breakfast price of about $10.50 US. You get choice of entree and this lovely fruit plate drizzled with honey, glass of juice (I like the mango) and bottomless coffee.
Oddly, I STILL haven't made it to the fancy smancy dinner service at Buccanos, but I was privileged to taste test on of the fancy appetizers they serve. Tried to set up one of my troop with dinner there for his proposal to the GF but it fell through.
