The missus and I will be traveling to Vilamendhoo in the South Ari Atoll at the end of the month for a dive trip. The dive op on the island (Euro Divers) doesn't seem to have an area weather & water condition report, but was hoping someone might be able to point me to one they'd recommend. I doubt it will have any impact on how we prepare, but I always find that monitoring those types of things helps me get into the traveling mindset.
Best,

Thats because if they did it would be a bit bland:

Sunday - sunny, warm, great viz. loads of fish
Monday - sunny, warm, great viz. loads of fish
Tuesday - sunny, warm, great viz. loads of fish
Wednesday - sunny, warm, great viz. loads of fish
Thursday - sunny, warm, great viz. loads of fish
Friday - sunny, warm, great viz. loads of fish
Saturday - sunny, warm, great viz. loads of fish

I guess you could have a current report:

In the lagoon - zero
In the channel - Ripping

Let us know how you get on! Very exciting. Awesome place.

Hahahah! Well OK, fair enough. I suppose I was also trying to get a sense of how close the conditions were sticking to the Nakaiy calendar, especially in regards to winds and current.
For now I'm using Maldives Meteorological Service

Hello!
Try this website: WindGURU: Weather forecasts for windsurfing, kitesurfing and other wind related sports

Area: Asia, Country: Maldives, Spot: Sun Island (it is in the south of South Ari Atoll, depending where is your island, but it is usually pretty accurate. I was using it working in Rangali Island for exemple.)

However, any forecast for more than 3 days in the Maldives, anywhere on the internet, will be not accurate (maybe for other country too, after all...)
We are on little patches of sand lost in the middle of the Idian Ocean...

Enjoy your Trip!
Safe diving and happy bubbles :)

Thank you, LaMissJude. That's an attractive layout for a data wonk such as myself.
