I would definately watch the show. If anything, these guys seem a lot more 'real' than some of the other divers you see on TV. I've watched the Axe Men divers a few times and they are such dip sh**s. The Axe Men divers make working divers look like complete idiots. I'm very happy to see that these guys portray working divers as something other than loose cannons. Good to see the professional, honorable side of our industry.

I'd give anything to find a tooth like that. In all my dives the only thing I ever brought up was a snorkel, a knife, and compass. A relic or fossil would truly be a reward...lol

Wow, Sitkadiver, thanks, man... :)

Tao... I dive every day. In fact, going out to the Beaufort 45 at the crack of dawn. Sitting in the shop right now blowin' tanks. :)

Anytime you want to dive, let me know. I'll put us on some teeth. :)

A Danforth anchor worth $20,000. ????? Shown at approx. 6:02 in the video.

I'm guessing that either the producer or the editor spliced in some stock footage. I noticed it also.

When I was diving on the Sealife a film crew from Court TV came to Sitka to film a special about the Bob Meyer murders(he's suspected of killing his wife and daughter and dumping the bodies at sea and then setting fire to his boat.)

Anyway, they are trying to describe the research sub and the ROV that were used to pull up part of the sunken boat. One of the bits of stock footage they used was a Navy submarine - Like an attack sub or something.... Made me laugh since since the Sea Life Discovery is 65 feet! They also shot lots of footage of us inside the Sea Life while in the kelp forrest. It looks great on TV, but it in no way, shape or form comparable to the location of the sunken boat in 500 feet of water.

I could not find the clip that was on Youtube, but this is the episode.

IMDb - "The Investigators" Fire and Ice (TV episode 2006)

Since I'm already flapping my gums... On another occasion my buddy and I were filmed changing a prop on a fishing boat. One of the bits of stoock footage that made the advertisement was a black and white picture of a Lusitannia prop!!! When my buddies gave me grief about it, I smile and said, "Yup, I lifted that thing with ONE hand." Haven't seen that comercial in years, but I still "hear" about it.

The first time I went out diving with SeaJay I found my first Megladon Tooth on my first dive in the blackwaters of the Low County. Wasn't anywhere as nice as some of the ones SeaJay has, but none the less...it is mine and I found it! :D

First one is always the coolest one! :) Hope you kept it and put it on display...

show idea for you

Deep south Divers dives the Great lakes. There wont be any Gators or the likes of that but tons of shipwrecks and cold water.

probably wont find many teeth either , not of megladon variety

but should make for interesting drama, watching you guys adjust to the 50 degree water

Seajay, I will dive with ya anytime. Just let me know when its good for you, what I need to bring, and I'm there man.

Yep! Have it in our china cabinet in the kitchen. I see it every day. :D

Its lonely though...it wants some friends. ;)
