Nice. Now I'm thinking about flying to Phuket from Singapore/Kuala Lumpur next year. Still a big sea though. Similan Islands? But those tiny ones don't seem to fit.
There are some pretty small islands in the Similans, but this is not, in fact, the Similans.
Adaman Islands???
No, not the Andamans, though I've seen photos of the swimming elephant that lives there!
 
Is it Thailand? Looks lie you have a huge collection of cool islands and beaches.

Phi Phi is in Krabi province. The geological process that formed the islands in Krabi province, including Phi Phi, is the same that formed these islands. They are not far away, are part of a National Park, and also comprise a UN World Heritage site.
