James Bond Island is in Phang Nga province?
Not James Bond Island, but yes, Phang Nga province.

ao phang nga national park

Ko Yao Yai [ big Island ] and Ko Yao Noi [ small Island ].
Yes, Ao Phang Nga National Park, but no not Koh Yao Yai/Noi.

There are 42 islands in Ao Phang Nga National Park, of which Koh Yao Yai and Noi (though not pictured in my shot) are the largest. The area is a bay (Ao means bay in Thai), and as such the water clarity isn't great for scuba diving, though it's wonderful for other sorts of water sports. The very best way to visit the islands is by sea kayak. Some of the islands have tunnels (caves) that link the sea with interior fresh water lagoons surrounded by vertical cliffs. If ever there was a place that must look like the Garden of Eden, this is surely it. I like to suggest that my divers do a daytrip to the park on their no-fly day when they can't dive.

I took this photo with my iPhone from the plane when it was coming in to Phuket airport to land at sunset.

I'm starting to regret not spending more time in the area when I was there, will have to return one day.
