Got you.........

In the world of internet and poor service I am here to say XS Scuba is great.

I had a short notice trip off island and had an opportunity to finally get a new set of tanks. I called them and they got them out and down to FL at one hell of a price. They were great to deal with and took good care of my order. I was only in Tampa for 36 hrs and they mad it happen.

I just wanted to say thanks to the crew in Cali.......

I am tired of having to write about poor service and was very happy to be able to post this.

Yeah, but you won't be able to get them filled because you just put an LDS out of business. :D

Well if any of my LDS's could have got them for less than double the Stateside price I would have.........

But no they can not.....:depressed:

My LDS gets a lot of money from me and they are very happy. I even support a Long Distance LDS also so I have done my part.......

Don't believe that for a minute. They CAN but the WON'T because they choose not to compromise their 100+% profit margin. It is the model that small, inefficient shops must follow.

Here that is only a small part of the issue. Shipping to the Island, Hacienda Taxing out the roof (20+%) on luxury items and then the sales tax (Local/State) that you get hit when they sell it to you. My LDS is great and they do not get upset with the regulars when we go off island and buy. They understand and even help get you setup when it comes in..... I do throw a lot of buisness their way in the lower items and it never amazes me that I drop $90-$100 everytime I go there.

I also pick up things when I am in FL for the owner and my dive buddys and bring it back as I travel a lot for work. I will be bringing back another set of H100's on my next trip for the owner. It all works out for all of us. Not like the LDS relationships in the states that I have dealt with. Not all LDS's are bad and out to get you for the Big Bucks.

Just in case anyone didn't notice; I was being a facetious :dork2:.

Never had a problem with my local LDS. They always handle any problems with quick and efficent service. Also willing to deal on price will match any reasonable price. Couldn't ask for a better group of divers to deal with
