Looks like the GEO has been redesigned and is now called the GO. 4.2 lbs in a size large is pretty impressive for travel. I will take a look at it but I am still leaning toward a Litehawk because of the rigid back plate and heavier duty materials. SCUBAPRO- GO

This is great news, I just posted a message about looking for a travel BC and not being able to stand the looks of the Geo. Does anyone know if these are available yet?

I don't think it is available just yet. If you want Light Weight Travel but with SS D-Rings here are 2 more great options:

A lot of manufacturers are offering inexpensive travel BC's. If you look closely one way they are cutting back on price is be going to plastic buckles & D-Rings. DiveRite was able to lower price but not their quality and still comes with SS D-Rings.

I like the Zeagle Express Tech for travel. Light, no inherent buoyancy, completely customizable with Stainless D -rings, buckle, crotch strap, etc and you can set one up to fit and suit your diving for under $300 bucks.

If you google it Leisure Pro has them in stock. Fancy that. But they are not an authorized dealer. Course it's a BC so who cares if they are or not.

Wayne those things look nice but I do not see why the Litehawk at 258.00 is not a better value for tropical travel.

Unfortunately Scuba Pro ties our hands on pricing so any authorized dealer that wants to be competitive will sell the Litehawk at 10% Off which would bring the price to $322. Won't get on the LP Debate but SP does not allow Online sales at the moment so if you do care to have a manufacturer warranty then LP does not count.

Now lets address the differences. Like I stated before, if you see the BC in person, you will clearly see where they cut costs and went to smaller, plastic D-rings. So for a comparable price I would rather have the Stainless Steal ones that are more rugged and easier to use. The wing on the Litehawk is excessively big (40lbs of lift) which leads to less efficiency in the water. The DR models have 27lbs of lift in their wings are more modular in their design and give you more options for proper d-ring placement and setting up your bc for how you like it.
