I have 1 reg set up so far, but i am interested in purchasing another one (MK25/S600). I am also looking at a HOG set up. I need so ammo just in case my wife looks at me crazy when i start having boxes come to the house.

Does anyone know anything about HOG regs. A while ago my instructor was using HOG D1 and HOG reg and I used it once and it was just effortless breathing. Since then i have become pretty curious and the price is amazing.

Hog has the bling on the inside

HOG are excellent regs. Excellent breathing, sturdy, and they are reasonably priced. Easy to work on, and you can take a course to service your own regs. If you plan on owning several sets, then it makes it worth it for the service costs alone.

Regulators, like the blue eye shadow that some women and young girls use, you can never have too much.

You can use another brand 2nd stage with a Hog 1st stage, but most likely will not breathe optimally out of the box. You'll need to get them tuned.

I just recently purchased a pair of HOG D1 regs for my sidemount setup. That brings the number of reg sets I personally own to 13. Over the course of the next year or so I'm planning to sell all of my ScubaPro reg sets ... and possibly all my Apeks reg sets as well ... and switch over to HOGs.

You can never have too many. I plan on getting all HOG's as well, cant beat the price for the performance you get and they are easy to work on.
