I just don't log dives
Finally pulled my finger out and got round to editing some of the footage from holiday in february this year.

We were lucky enough to arrive the day Mubarak stepped down - this meant there was 3 of us on the only dive boat out of el Gouna.

Its amazing diving the red sea with no one else there!

Will try and sort the video of the Rosalie Moller asap, filmed the whole thing so its a bit long for youtube at the moment!

Darn it, now I have to add one more place to my bucket list. Very nice video of a great dive. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video! We were in El Gouna in 2006. Nice location, fewer people than in hurghada

Its lovely isnt it - its not like the rest of egypt at all.

As we were the only tourists there we were chatting to the locals quite a bit.

The entire area is private property - so there are loads of extra 'rules' that have the be adheared to, and a whole bunch of laws which do not need to be obeyed

examples:

1. 3% russian tourist maximum (they don't like them!)
2. No hassling tourists in the street, or you get kicked out
3. Drink and drive - its private property!!!!!!

All in all a lovely place :o)

I recommend organising some form of civil unrest so most tourists stay away, then you get the red sea to yourself - I've never experienced the red sea like it, there was just the 3 of us!!!

Awww El Gouna is amazing we were also there during the same time - it truely was lovely (moreso than usual!) :0)

was it you on the one other dive boat we saw the whole week - which happened to moor on the same dive site as us? ;-)

It is lovely, trying to work out how I can get away with going there next year at the same time :-)
