Hey guys- This will be my first year that I can participate in a lobster hunt. Does anyone have any information on it? Like is it once a year or a specific date range? where can I find the rules and regulations? How does it work? I live in Staten island and am looking for someone who would be interested in going with too! Any information would be greatly appreciated!

You need to get a license from the DEC of NY.Cost $10. for a calender year.Allowed up to 6 lobsters per day. All must meet size requirements. Rules/regulations are on aprinted form that you get when you receive license.

Awesome! Im guessing the lobster hunting is better in ther NJ area? I havent heard of anyone diving for lobsters in Brooklyn, but have heard about it in Long Island. NJ might be the way to go for now. I am going to check out both sites. Thanks for info guys and hey if you ever wanna go lobster hunting drop me a line! I could use a mentor:dork2:
