I will be travelling to San Francisco in April for work and the only free time I have is 1 Sunday and I want to buy a wet suit while I'm over there I will be staying at a hotel down town ( union square ) does anyone know any shop that is open on Sundays where I can buy a wet suit and maybe some other scuba equipment. And any web page where I can see the prices and what they have fore sale ? I do not want to buy the wet suit online because I want to try it on before buying but I would like to see the prices and see what the cost will be

Hope someone can help , Thanks !

Only dive shop IN San Francisco, Bamboo Reef, isn't open Sundays. However, Harbor Dive Center in Sausalito (just across the Golden Gate) is open Sundays.

If you have a car, there are some shops in surrounding cities. San Jose has a fairly large store called Any Water Sports. I know there are other stores too, I am just not familiar with them.

I purchased most of my gear from Any Water Sports, San Jose, but they are currently closed on Sunday. Wallins, San Carlos is closed on Sunday. Some shops open on Sundays nearer to summer. I would try out Wallins or Bamboo Reef after work during the week. They have websites.

Stores open Sunday about 1-2 hr drive from SF. Wet Pleasure, Santa Clara and Dolphin SCUBA, Sacramento. All these shops have websites.

California charges over 9% sales tax depending on the county.

I could never in one day figure out which wetsuit fits me and will work for my type of diving without first checking out a few shops, trying things on and talking to people. It would take me a week or more.
