Hello.
I was an avid diver all through college and many years afterwards. Probably logged well over 300 dives mostly in the Caribbean and Australia. Last dive was when we got married in Curacao just under 9 years ago. We had kids, and well, you know how that goes, no time, no babysitter.
So now, the kids are headed to grandma's and grandpa's house for a week in April. This will be our first vacation alone since we got married. I would love to find a place to dive again. We live near Seattle, and would love to go somewhere that we could do a couple of boat dives in the morning, and then chill out on the beach in the afternoon. Some place warm, comfortable, safe, but does not need to be fancy.
I have just been so far out of the dive scene, that I don't know where to go. I came here (on a recommendations from another board member) to look for suggestions. So any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. We hope to take a refresher course before we go. And since it has been so long, we are not that picky about dive locations. Although 'easy' diving would be preferable due to our hiatus from diving.
Thanks! And I am hoping in the near future we can start our kids diving too. I understand they have to be 10, but that is only a couple of years away!:cool2:
