Hello,

I am looking for a back inflated, jacket style, weight integrated BC for around 300$. Can anyone give me any feedback on the Aeris EX 100? It seems to have all I need, but I need to be assured on the quality of this BC.

I am a beginner diver who will be making warm water recreational dives. TIA

Hi,

Have you checked out the Leisure Pro website? They have the BCD you’re looking at. SKU: AEREX1 Aeris EX 100 Jacket Style BCD with QLR Weight Pockets, Black Aeris is a quality brand and is manufactured by the same group that manufactures Oceanic BCD’s. Oceanic of course has been building BCD’s for over four decades. Hope this information will help you.

Sincerely,

Leisure Proski

I bought this a few weeks ago. Only been out with it once so far just to test it out, but it's alright for me. Fits well, has integrated weight system, pockets are a decent size. I did add a few clips and things to the D-rings to hold stuff, seems fine. Obviously can't comment on its longevity, but no problems with it yet.

I have an Aeris Atmos LX, size Large. Has about 25 dives on it. I'm about ready to put it up for sale for $300. It is a high quality BC, integrated weights, pockets, fully adjustable, left/right dump valves and one on the back lower right.

Banjo, isn't the Atmos LX a hybrid? Mostly back with some side inflation...

Yes...it is a hybrid. Just like you say. It has been discontinued...or maybe replaced by the 5 oceans maybe...not sure. However, this bc was a favorite with Scuba Lab. I have about 25 dives on it, brand new really. I'm going into a Bp/w.........of course.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I have the PREDECESSOR of your BC: the Atmos XT. It's still going strong about 7 years after I first bought it.

I was just commenting on the fact that the OP indicated "back inflated" and the LX is a hybrid.
