Clearing ears easier in Saltwater?

hmm, weird. Guess I'm just gettign better at it. Just seems odd that I went from bad to what I would consider perfect...
 
Is it possible that your sinuses are less affected by some airborne allergens at one location over another? Can you notice any differance?

Not at all. I usually get a little stuffy after a plane ride, but thats just becaus ethe air quality sucks. Other than that my sinuses only give me trouble when I mow the lawn.

Maybe because the aquarium is a little over 1000 ft msl? The springs are near 0...

It would be interesting to see if the salt/fresh water symptoms continue as you dive more locations. Sounds like a good reason to visit Truk Lagoon to me! ;)

Well, I will be in Maui in 2 weeks, and plan on doing some more local springs diving in the future. Maybe even a local quarrry or two...

That medical thing will not work with my woman, but it's always easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission;)
 
Quarries are full of junk and leaching toxins but interesting.
 
Same type of deal for me with the ears...But the 3m wetsuit the warm NC ocean and clearing early and often made my first saltwater dive off the coast my best dive yet.Can't wait to go back !
