I can tell ya Jamie, got to the beach around 10:30 just north of the pier, vis was about 2' at the sandbar but as we got out to the rocky bottom it was less than a foot. SO bad that my dive buddy got lost and when he came in he got a ticket for no dive flag from the POPO. you always have to stay with the guy with the flag. hope this gets better soon.....

We were about a mile south of the Boneyard in about 32 feet of water. Surface temp was 82 and a thermocline at around 22 feet. Bottom temp was 77-78. Visibility was around 3-4 feet. Bottom was quite silty. Seas were very light. I'll post a picture of what we found.

Did S. Brohard today. Water was smooth, incoming tide, vis 3-5 ft on the blocks & temp at the surface was 84. It seemed colder on the bottom.

One of my regular beach divers was in this afternoon and said the Alhambra Rd. site had very limited vis but the Venice Beach artificial reef had between 15-20 feet of vis. Anywhere near the mudflats left over from the winter storms there appears to be continued limited vis, but the areas around the artificial reefs look pretty good, at least today. Stay tuned.

Noaa Forecast for the birthday bash!
Saturday: Scattered showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. South southeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Went out with Megalodon Charters today. We had a good time as always.
Flat seas
air temp 95
water temp at surface 83-84
temp at bottom 80
East winds- no wind at all!
Vis was 3-4 feet, and at times 0

Found several hundred shark teeth, 2 nice small Megs and lots of partials.

Tried a beach dive at Service Club later in the afternoon and vis was 0-2 feet. We found barely any teeth. Maybe next time.
