So scuba shack's website claims there is a tug boat beach dive off of Pensacola Beach... Anyone familiar with the "Sport" wreck and have some tips on finding it?

Here is the link to scuba shack: Scuba Shack

I don't know if this is a tugboat or not but it looks like something substantial.

Google Maps

That might be remains of the Casino Beach Rubble from way back in the day. The Sport is on the sound-side of the island, around the Fort Pickens area. Catherine is on the beach side. There's another wreck east of P'Cola beach, thats beach divable, but I haven't found it yet. There's another shore divable wreck on AFB property in Fort Walton(ish), used to be a sailboat on the soundside near there as well. Then the bridge and jetties and multiple piers in Destin/FtWalton area...

Heading west... Couple bridges, couple piers, more jetties, Whiskey, Paddlewheeler, Shrimpboat, etc.

Do you have any reference points for how to find the Sport and Catherine?

The whiskey wreck is a great dive, we've hit that one a few times now.

That is an interesting structure, I guess i'll drop on it this weekend and let everyone know

That is interesting because my wife and I are planning on diving Fort Pickens on Friday morning for high tide.

Never got around to diving either, when I was putting a real effort into hunting beach dives, Fort Pickens was closed :(

Ive not found the sport and it would be on the sound side. There is however the rota also on the sound side it would be alittle swim out to it and the catherine is on the gulf side it would also be a little swim off the beach. The sport would be of the dock of the old coastguard station in line with a red bouy marker.
