I’m the current owner of a Mach V 18lb wing…I think.

Bought the wing a few years ago and have loved it. But just noticed on the back, on the tag, it says “Approx Buoyancy: 40”

Now, the wing is an awful lot smaller than any 40lb wing I've seen. It looks exactly like THIS wing, which is listed on ScubaToys as the 18lb wing.

It does NOT look like this wing, shown for the 30 and 40lb wing:

Unfortunately, Oxycheq's site shows the top picture above as the only photo on the page that lists the 18, 30, and 40lb versions.

Any ideas?

Oxycheq does have a rep here I believe. Send him a message.

I've got the 40 Extreme wing. Mine looks like the upper, size, not fabric. Weird.

Makes sense. 40#~18Kg

It should be printed on the inside tag. I have both an 18 and a 40 Mach V
and both are clearly printed on the tag. If it says 40 then it's indeed a 40. The mach V is a very small wing compared to other wings or even their old signature series wings of equal lift rating.

As far as contacting Oxycheq, I'd call them. They don't consider SB to be....uh, never mind.

Inside tag? There's a tag on the panel that faces the BP, as mentioned above.

Inflated it's about 15"w x 23" tall.

Will call them today.

Thx
