Just out of curiosity what in your opinion was the hardest, most benificial, favorite, educational, and/or Contntribuiting Dive class/course you've taken? This question goes out to all divers, be it in the Open Water Recreational, Overhead, Technical, and Rebreather Diving realm....

Rescue, hands down. Although surface supplied in a 17B was no picnic.

DM, Rescue and Deep.

cavern, adv nitrox, deco procedures

UTD tech1.

I was the only student in the class and had two instructors. One was teaching the class and the other, along with another T1 grad were my team mates so naturally all the emphasis was on me. I've never been pushind to my limits underwater like during critical skills dives. I'm about to repeat the punishment in June for T2 :)

Handicapped Scuba Association Instructor training

Rescue. My instructor had a theory that most rescues would be made near the end of a dive day when the victim is tired. He had us run up and down steps at the beach several times in full gear, then swim 500 yards and tow a diver back to the beach, carrying them out of the water.

Rescue.
Just the books alone were worth the price of admittance.

Hardest? Probably the Overhead Protocols course. Lot of new (to me) stuff, and learning it in a fairly unfriendly environment (cold + surge) made it rather difficult.

Most beneficial? Probably my intro-to-tech level (IANTD Deep Diver through deco and basic trimix) stuff, as it not only made me re-think my approach to diving, but it brought me into a great community of like-minded divers.

Favorite? I don't know... Easiest answer is my Wreck Penetration class, since it's most recent in my mind.

Most contributing? If I correctly interpret that question, it has to be basic open water. As lacking (in retrospect) as it may have been, had I never taken it I wouldn't be diving today.
