Pix? I think most people here have an idea what a wetsuit looks like :).

Without posting a picture it would be difficult to know....:worthless:

Is this a joke? Do you really need a picture to know what a wetsuit looks like?

I agree with 200 bar. Without pics of the wife in question modelling various sizes of wetsuit, and perhaps a bikini shot for comparison, it's very difficult to make an accurate assessment. :D

well, you could always have her keep it a bit unzipped if it gets too warm. Benefit of a 3mm could be less weight.

I asked her if she would model for the forums, and I am now missing a tooth. I can post this pic though:

Result: I showed this thread to the wife, who relented and is 'permitting' me to buy her a 3mm wetsuit.

I think she will be happier, and Happy Wife = Happy Life.

So use your imagination, and you will see it IS a joke......

Hi Ze, My girlfriend and I have been to Cozumel 3 times ( me 5 but dont say anything) ;)
We dive in 3mm surf suits with booties.. Just fine. Sometimes at the end of the 2nd dive we get cold. WE dont like getting cold!!.. But thats if the weather is not so nice. Usually we get off the boat and sun for a while. I just bought a new 3mm dive suit. NO HOLES !! Im almost 60 and loose my heat fast. We usually go in OCT/NOV when the water is 85+ but our guils are dry and tempers hi, (if you know what i mean) need a vacation!!. We are planing to go in March and stay at our fav Casa DelMar. A ways out of town but we like to walk.. had to take a taxi back a couple of time, goooood margs!! etc..
For a $200 you can get a great 3mm dive suit, Aqua Lung strechy. word to the wise, MAKE her happy and she will make you, well you know.. Have fun and be safe..

Bart

whatever you do on this trip, my bet is that it will not be your last to coz. eventually you will buy lighter suits just because they are easier to travel with. you can probably get by with a 1mm on coz, if you do not go in winter, but a 3mm is more versatile imo.
