Offer still available?
I bet there is. I'll email Ken just in case he wasn't planning on logging on here tonight.

Should still be able to get you onboard. I just texted my store manager to double check.
Sending a PM with details.

Got flights picked out? Looks like Delta @ 5:40am out of Bloomington for $779 RT total, I think. I'd suggest longer connection times in ATL than some of the short ones offered by the online systems, especially on return thru immigration & customs. Looks like a good trip tho, after the adventure of getting there and all.

Yup - I'm starting to get a little nervous about my connection time on the return. I'm in first class on the return trip where they mark your bags "priority handling" - last time they did that, my bags were the LAST to arrive on the conveyor both in ATL and at my final destination!

I've got over an hour to connect in IAH on the way there, but there is an earlier flight I may standby for that would give me over 3 hours in IAH. If there are weather implications in Lubbock, I may go down the night before and stay at my daughter's. I can drive on ice and in white outs, but at night  and there's always those driving twice as fast as me, both directions. Our Xmas and New Years storms took out a few of those drivers the hard way, and I hated to be on the same Interstate with them at the same time.

I've got almost two hours in IAH on the return and I don't much mind getting delayed there overnight on return if that fails. Something about my country Texas accent I guess; I have never had a customs delay. I will have my terminal maps printed out tho, and grab a golf cart if needed - and check the weather forecasts on my laptop the night before we leave.

We have an Arctic front coming down across much of the US this week that will include all of y'all so I guess you know already. Our Xmas storm came down the Rockies then came east from New Mexico - odd, but this'll be our third Thursday storm in three weeks. I am ready for shorts and mosquito repellent. OMG I need to find some. Not so easy this time of year.

Was that directed at me?

I fly through Chicago and either Atlanta or Houston as a layover. Usually runs $650 round trip. Sure wish I could do better. Cozumel is $301 no layover for me.

Yep, wondered if you needed help shopping flights. Sound like you know what you're doing. See ya there.

Always willing to accept the help. If you are an airfare geek, I can fly out of St Louis or Indy just as easy (or easier) than Chicago. Have at it champ ;)
