Hey Everyone,

I will be heading out to Vortex this weekend with some people from the FSU dive club. If you want to come out and bbq with us/stay over let me know. Its not going to be a HUGE event, just some people diving and having a good time. I will be doing some dm training with a dm candidate and may need some 'victims' if you are interested (pm me if you are) ;).

Zach

and, if you volunteer to be a victim...I will buy you one order of loaded fries (drink not included)

Kevin Carlisle and myself will be at Vortex early Saturday morning. We will be fine tuning his new side mount rig. I am game to play the victim...I have done it before...but I warn you, I don't like making things easy.:D

we will probably show up close to the afternoon and would be absolutely stoked if you made it extra difficult. the candidate knows most of my tricks because he's been working with me for awhile and I know he's not on sb so I figured why not catch him completely off guard?! Thanks for the offer, I'll PM you my info!

Kevin Carlisle and I hit Vortex this morning around 8:30 AM. Temperatures were around 43 degrees and I know I saw some sleet early on in the day. Kevin and I shot the bull, adjusted his Nomad side mount rig, then hit the steaming water of Vortex at about 10AM. There were some large classes there today...as far as I can tell Kevin and I were the only divers there that weren't in a class.

We made two dives and since I was diving wet I headed for some warm, dry clothes. I brought my camera but didn't take it out of the truck. It was a wet, nasty, cold day...but Kevin and I still had some good dives.

Ask Kevin about his fins.............

Sorry I didn't get to meet you Docc. I got to see Kenny P, but I didn't want to interrupt the class. Guess I will have to get a hold of Kevin and ask about the fins.

It was kinda nasty all weekend. Kevin found his missing fins. I'm sure I'll be down that way a lot so we'll catch up sometime.

Congratulations Docc

I tried to dive, made it as far as Crestview before my catalytic converter went nuclear... D'Oh.

Glen you da MAN for diving in the wetsuit.. I enjoyed it as always and appreciate the help and advice. Fins were lost but now they are found :D
