I read one story that said he went into the store. I think it's plausible that he didn't know anything about it.

This should be a lesson for him. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong people.... it could easily ended his college football career. (and maybe any chance at a pro career)

new verse of the University of Tennessee "Rocky Top Song" that someone sent me.

Wish that I was on ole rocky top,
Instead of a Tennessee jail.
Ain't no prison smokes on rocky top,
Ain't no hundred dollar bills.

Once there were three freshman on rocky top,
lookin' for money to steal.
dumb as a rock, thick as a stump
pleading to the judge, "let's make a deal"

Rocky top, you'll always be
Convict U to me.
Good ole rocky top,
Rocky top Tennessee, rocky top Tennessee.

Vols freshman DB charged with shoplifting

KNOXVILLE -- A fourth Tennessee football player has been charged with breaking the law in the last two weeks.

Nyshier Oliver is facing a charge of shoplifting. The 18-year-old freshman defensive back was cited at 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 7, a few hours before the Volunteers hosted Memphis. He is scheduled to make a court appearance on Nov. 23.

According to court records, the Jersey City, N.J., native was spotted allegedly concealing a $110 brown polo shirt from Dillards in a shopping bag.

The court records were released Tuesday, a day after Coach Lane Kiffin dismissed two of three players charged with attempted armed robbery. Kiffin says he will run a clean program.

A Tennessee spokeswoman did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

For a brown polo shirt? Must of had sales sticker somewhere. Can you say no institutional control? :shocked2: At this rate they be tapping the band for would be players by the start of 2010. :)

Reminds me of that boxing movie with Lou Gosset Jr when they have to recruit boxers from the local prison for their team...

Pete was right... don't underestimate Ole Miss.

I just want to start out with a big GO MISSISSIPPI!!!!! (and I'm not even a Mississippi fan! :D)

LSU just "choked" on one of their corndogs! They didn't call a time out after third down and wasted so much time that it cost them the game!

Anyone see Les Miles after game comments? he could barely speak he was so tounge tied! :thumb:

In case you missed it, here is the last few moments of the game! :thumb:
