Oh schit...there goes the neighborhood :shakehead:. Yes LB, we have gone through this. On this topic you should LIE.....

No. SharkWater was the documentary about the shark finning industry. SHARKWATER Excellent movie and I got the Shark Water coffee table book.....excellent coffee table book IMO.

Just finished watching Sharkwater (the credits are still playing as I type this). Excellent documentary on the shark finning industry, and some beautiful underwater footage, but diving is not the "star of the show".

A shorter film with much more diving focus and shark footage is "Shark Mountain". It's just under an hour long, but has some incredible footage from Cocos. There is mention of the finning industry, but the primary focus of the show is to show sharks acting natural, unlike many "nature shows" that induce radical behavior with chumming or baiting. There's even some rare footage of sharks mating. It was an episode of Nature from PBS, and is available on DVD. I bought my copy along with Sharkwater from Amazon.com.

I can't believe no one mentioned the scene in "Escape from L.A." Very cool sub!

Reality check, Carl Brashear was a fantastic man, and Cuba did him justice in Men of Honor. Cuba also went way up on my respect scale when he discretely attended the services for CPO Brashear.

The Deep and Into the Blue

... both for obvious reasons :D

Scott

Into the Blue was a remake of The Deep.

The plot for both movies...
Divers looking for "old" wreck, find "new" wreck filled with drugs. Bad guys chase them for the drugs. Divers ultimate goal to find proof that the "old" wreck is the one they think it is.

Definitlly Sea Hunt! There are entire episodes on YOU TUBE now...

Just what I need, more ways to waste my time on the Internet! LOL

It went straight to DVD. I bought it.

It's really bad. Into the Blue was good and lots of scuba. Part 2, different people,
hardly any scuba. Very disappointed.
