I contacted Corey last week about a battery problem with my Salvo 21W (2 years old version) and he told me to wait until the moving process is done and they a have a few issues with cours so... it's a good sign, Leviathan is answering ;-)

How did you get in touch w/ him? I've left phone messages and sent e-mails w/ no responses. I wish I too had been warned, he flat out told me to send in my light and he'd get it back to me in time for my tech class.

from Jarrod at Halcyon's post on Deco Stop, it appears that the court authorized a "search/inventory" of Leviathan assets and they found Halcyon property there.

Unless someone writes a big check to cover it, I don't see a quick resolution to this.

Here's the ironic thing. If Leviathan folds because of this., then they are worth nothing. Even Halcyon looses (and gets nothing).

Leviathan looses....
Halcyon looses....
the customer looses...

Well if Halcyon ever wants to see another dollar of mine, and they have already received quite a few, they'll unseize my assets, what a load of crap.

ONESPEED, when did you send your light in? I have no idea if it's within the timeframe of the search/inventory, but I doubt Halcyon is laying claim to your light. Also, without getting into the politics of all this, it may be worth thinking about whether Halcyon is the party you should be angry at (seeing how there may have been an alleged sale of stolen goods and receipt of stolen goods)?

Man, a lot of people really hate the big H, and I just thought it was cause their stuff was expensive!

I own two Halcyon Backplates, two Halcyon wings, Halcyon lift bags, my girlfriend and several of my friends own Halcyon BP/W's on my recommendation. I by no means hate Halcyon, quite the contrary.

To answer your question my light was sent in about two weeks ago at Corey's request w/ a promise of quick turnaround.

I will have to disagree with Rainer here. I have zero doubt that Corey would like nothing more than to get to business and usual, and fix up your lights and send them back. But since Halcyon has come in with a restaining order, and he is not permitted to conduct business (and the fault of THAT kettle of worms lies with Barry, nor Corey, who was just a employee), he cannot.

So let's review the facts, at least, the facts we can relatively safely assume are true: Corey cannot work on your light. He may not even be permitted to conduct "work", including communicating with clients, at this point. Is that Corey's fault, or is that due to Halcyon's restraining order?

If the latter, is Halcyon's restraining order due to wrongdoing on his part, or is that due to Halcyon's desire for revenge against Barry? (justified or not as to Barry, revenge against Barry is now being implemented via legal actions against Corey)

Revenge? Let's not get too stupid here.

I don't fault H for following up on theft. That's BARRY'S fault, not H's. That said, H obviously has no right to MY light, so hopefully any issues between H and Leviathan get sorted quickly and I get my light back soon (ditto for the others in the same boat).
