Mares Kaila Womens BCD

I purchased my Mares Kaila with the MRS Plus weight system and I have had no problems with it!! I love the way it fits and performs. I think that sending your Bc back to the authorized dealer was the right thing to do, it sounds like you got a lemon! I hope all works out for you, keep me posted!

Ok today I'm going mad because of mares. They are completely crazy. I went back to the shop and they send my BCD back to MAREs and the second one BCD from shop. And you know what they do in Mares. They check BCD from the shop not myne, and I need it badly these weekend. Now I'm waiting their call, when myne BCD will be finished. Crazy italian people

I think I got no luck with these BCD. And yes they found some problems on pockets.

2 Days ago I buy Mares Kaila with integradet mrs plus weight system. Yestrday I go on my first dive with new jacket and left integrated weight system fall out and I go up, but we didnt know why. ME and my buddy did't notice that weight fall out because the current was so strong, when we came into no current I try to do buoyency but we saw I don't have left weight anymore. We went out and I tested how strong it is. I think my left weight system has faliure. BEacause I put right weight pocket to left one, I check if everything it's good and it was, then I shake BCD 3 times like I was quickly moving in the water and weight pocket fall out.

Is this happend to anyone else? How can you use this bcd on the ship when you have to do jump strike?
What should I do? The BCD is in warranty because I buy it 3 days ago. Will Mares change the bcd and how long does it take it?

I also just lost the left weight pocket on the Kaila BC while diving Jul 25. The weight pocket was latched and normally it takes a tug to bring it out. But I was also in current and suddenly started floating up and then realized my left weight pocket was missing.
Does anyone know about a replacement weight pocket for the Kaila? I've looked at some on several websites and although they say it fits Kaila BC, they look very different, at least from the images presented online.
