For anyone who uses more than one pony tank size, you can pick multiple options.

Sorry, I don't know standard metric pony sizes.
 
I got a 40 since some of the advanced courses require that size...may as well start off right the first time.
 
After a bunch of math I picked a 19 CF...........small, easy to carry and sling..........

Hindsight is always 20/20 so if I had to do it again would have picked a 30 CF.......

Underwater a 30 and 19 are virtually the same and the benefit of much more air........

I use the Trimix version of the Spare Air.
 
Depends upon the dive and profile.

No set answer.
 
For basic reef crusing I carry a 13 cu because it will get me to the surface and provide some time at depth down to about 65 feet.

As a commercial diver I carry a 30 cu for work down to 100 feet, so I will be using that as my pony for deeper recreational dives.

Anything bigger than that, you might as well just go to doubles.
