I use a rolling bag that is nothing special, and cost maybe $25 (it was part of a set).

It is the maximum allowable carry on size, so all the special fancy bags in the world are NOT going to carry more stuff! It is plain Jane black, and does NOT scream expensive Dive/Camera gear inside.

I also have a backpack for some gear as well. Those are my two bags, and I've never had trouble carrying them both on. My backpack is a LowePro nature trekker, so most of my camera gear goes in that, but some spills out in the rolling carry on.

I generally carry on expensive items. My housing goes into checked bags, and If it went missing, I am insured. It would certainly screw up the diving photography, but one can only carry on so much. I generally carry on my reg and mask, but little else in the way of dive gear.

I fly internationally to Asia and EVA will at times weight check carry-on bags which aren't supposed to be over 10kg or about 22 lbs. I get the cheap seats but if I upgraded I could carry-on two items of that weight. I have used a travel vest stuffed with the heaviest items to get by but I put it over my arm on check-in because it looks kind of ridiculous. Camera gear make the whole thing more complicated especially with the batteries, chargers and strobe.

Once I'm in a foreign country (Philippines) the whole game changes and they charge over 20kg for check-on and usually don't care what the carry-on weighs.

Where can one get this dive caddy bag? There are very very few places that I've found to buy it online. Anyone have a reputable vendor to buy this from?

I bought mine directly from them. Did it all over email.

I used mine on my trip last week. It didn't pack as nicely as they demonstrated in the video. After packing it I had to push and roll it a bit to flatten out the back. The bag was a little too long to fit in the overhead bin straight on. Ended up taking off the turtle bag, putting the big bag in sideways and putting the turtle pack in front of it.

I packed it with my dive gear and put some diving clothing in the spider bag. Was nice having that with me. On the way home I decided to check the bag and everything held up well.

On the way there I did get stopped at security and they opened it up. They just wanted to see the regulator and dive computer. Took a few minutes to redo it afterwards.
