Made it out to BHB this morning with a few of my buddies. While I was there, I saw lots of other divers and even had a chance to chat with fisheyeview and his wife Kelly (sorry Kelly, forgot your online username). We even joined fisheyeview, Kelly and a few other divers for lunch after the dive - thanks guys for the advice and for the lunch invite!

Fisheyeview and Kelly gave me some great advice on where to find the real tiny stuff, unfortunately, I didn't get the info until after the dive, so I didn't get any shots of the nudis I was looking for, but I'm definitely ready for the next BHB dive!

I did manage to get a few keeper shots of some bleenies, which took over some old bottles on the bottom and designated them their new home.

Adrian,

It was great meeting you today, and thanks for the pictures.

What are these guys. There's another one behind him. They are clumps of seaweed.

Just posting one more time to say how much I appreciate all of you who post photos, it gives me things to be on the look out for the next time I go. For example now I know to look for interesting clumps of "seaweed". Wonder how many of those I swam over????:shocked2:

Wonderful pics everybody. I can't wait until I get down there this June.

Look out Scott next Kevin will be shooting Nudibranchs

Kevin great pictures Makes the bridge & wrecks look fantastic

I need to try taking blenny pics again I thought I had seen the best -til now Absolutely awesome shots

I just went back and looked at the picture. Sure enough there are two of them. I didn't see the second one until you guys pointed it out. :rofl3:

I went yesterday for the first time. I really enjoyed seeing the wide variety of creatures. What a great alternative to beach diving when the beaches are getting slammed. Everyone seemed very friendly. What was the ambulance there for? I hope it wasn't one of us!

Ambulances are frequent visitors at the park. There are quite a few incidents of people being overly drunk, or high.

I'm glad you enjoyed the dive.

Love the pics! Thanks for sharing all.
Jim- LOVE the butterflyfish. Interesting black marking above the tail.
Fisheye- Your nudis are spectacular! I need to slow down (more) and start looking for them, or dive with you.
Kev- Thanks for the WA shots, nice variety from the macro, and you caught the essence of what it's like going under the bridge.
SFLDiver- Love the blennies. It looks like you didn't just shoot fish, but also got their personalities!

One of the swimmers cut their foot it looked like. I was walking past just as he sat down at the lifeguard station. Great dives yesterday and saw a big 2 foot octopus out in the sand and it was on the move. Big HorseShoe crab also. Nice day, about 150 divers on both sides, I'd guess.

Hey, what's up with all the 'Towel Heads' LoL!!
