No, but my business is risk management. I have seen people terminated for these types of rules violations.

But, as we are all good divers, I rest assured that we always follow the rules.

I'm just glad that cop didn't stop me this morning for slightly violating the speed limit rules as I passed him


As for njscuba.net, I still think he's got a great site regardless of how he chooses to run it. I just wish it was more accessible. but those are his choices.

I just looked at his site and there's absolutely nothing in there that can't be accomplished without limiting browser support.
The developer decided to do it this way and unfortunately limits his audience. I would think someone with such knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport would want his experience out there available to all who happened to find it.

I think the point being made by Mike_s and others is not that the site or the dive shop is bad, rather than these artificially imposed browser restrictions, limit the intended audience of the site and that is a shame.

PS. I browse on my own personal computer while I'm at work -- which our employee handbook doesn't address so I guess I won't be "terminated" for violating the rules.

There's a link on the site shows "about" the site and the author.

I can't read it w/o switching to my other browser (and I'm being lazy and not going to), but he mentions browsers supported and basically says "It's my damn site and I can do what I want to with it". oh well. ( But he's right. it's his site and apparently he wants to impose limites.. oh well again.).
