I don't get the whole, "I dive, so I don't eat fish" mentality. There are lots of other things swimming around in the water eating the fish, so why shouldn't you be one of them?

I mean - if you're going to be a vegetarian, OK, go be one - but I don't see what diving has to do with it, one way or another.

True. But at that time I would probably be trying to espouse some of the more positive aspects of vegetarianism

I only eat veggie-eating mammals that possessed split hooves and multi-chambered stomachs.
My fish must have fins and removable scales.
Predatory birds are not on my menu.

I do not want my cuspids and bicuspids to waste away from non-use.

I am not sure Karma and my tastebuds are in disagreement, of course you can build good karma by not harrassing the omnivors....
