Looks like I'll be moving to Cincinnati for a month or two around the 1st of Nov. Any diving nearby?

Hi Flightlead,
I just moved to Bloomington, IN, so I'm figuring out the regional diving, as well!
I dove Blue Springs Quarry today (in Waldron, IN... right off I74 from you). They got flooded in June, which introduced a lot of silt, and they are still recovering from that. That said, I enjoyed my dives today... you just gotta stay near the wall and above the thermocline (~25ft). Vis ~15-20, high 50's, just very silty.
Gilboa is in northern ohio... quite a drive, but I've heard that place is amazing. Also I found this place in a post somewhere... Natural Springs Resort: Scuba Diving
Hope this helps,
Brett
Natural Springs isn't bad in the fall and spring but visibility is horrid in the summer. Most of it is 15-18 feet deep, there is a trench in the back that goes to 25 feet or so.
Some of our guys have been diving some local gravel pits. Visibility is usually bad (sometimes inches) but it's getting wet and exploring a new place
