I recently purchased a weight belt from leisurepro (http://www.leisurepro.com/Prod/AQUWBSS.html). This buckle only has two slots in the back to loop the webbing through. All the pictures and threading tips I have seen is for three. These all worked with my quick release BC buckle, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to thread my weight belt buckle with only 2 slots.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

I believe you have a third slot at the front end of the buckle and 2 at the back end. This is one solution: http://www.scubatoys.com/store/accessories/pics/beltthreading.jpg

Another alternative with the arrangement pictured in the link is down the 2nd slot, up the 3rd, and back under the buckle and up the 1st. I like it because I can leave a longer tag end to adjust for over-eating.

I do have an old Dacor SS buckle that only has 2 thin slots. surprisingly, in one and out the other and leave the tag end holds quite well.

Awap, Thanks for your help. The picture of the belt on leisurpros website does look like it has three slots (one in the front), but the one they sent me only has two.

The two slot onfiguration you described does hold quit well, but if the extra slack is not held down the the belt it will just slip out. I guess I was just hoping for a better two slot configuration.

Thanks again for your help.

I purchased the same buckle a few years ago from LP. For a few bucks, go to a shoe repair shop and loop it and then have them sew it on to the belt with a nice tight box pattern with an "X" in the middle for more security.

Thanks scubamax, I will try that. I think for a quick fix today I will use a D ring keeper to hold it down.
