NO doubt, It's been WAY to long. I just hope I can dive longer than 30 minutes. hahaha ;)

mwhites what exposure are you wearing?

I'll be wearing my 3mm Henderson Gold Core long suit, hood, and gloves. I'll be sporting my Chuck Taylor Converse. (Might need thick socks.)

ive got a vintage 5mm jacket from the early 80s it was my grandfathers. Under that I wear a 3mm full suit. I can only hope to make it 30 mins in November we averaged about 30 min dives but then again it wasn't dropping down to the 20's. Maybe this weekend's backpacking trip will get me in line.

somehow, in these water temps this time of year, with that wetsuit, the thick socks will prob be of little help....

I know. I was hoping to get some good neoprene socks but, I don't think I'm going to be able to. (Also, I think he asked what thickness for the Gulf this weekend. If not, at Pelham, I'll be wearing all of my gold cores and my 3mm shorty as a "core warmer".)

Last night's pool session to test my new configuration went well. I fluttered around with about 800 psi to make sure I had the proper weighting so there are no problems on feb 2. Even after draining the tank to about 200 I still had no problems staying down. BTW im digging the can light

Sounds good!I know I'll need to jump into a pool or EARLY Feb2 to reset mine for my exposure suit. Actually, now that I think about it, I think I only need 4lbs for fresh. I think I tested in a pool when I first purchased my BP/W.

I'm looking at getting a DiveRite Mr11 Canlight. Sunbeam fixed-focus.

4 lbs is what I wore last night in the exact same exposure I will be wearing Feb 2. DR is great I have a transpac and a set of regs from them but I love my Halcyon Explorer 10w HID adjustable focus are you going to get the light before the feb dive?

I may come down, but I'm not sure. If I do, I'll probably have my son with me, so won't be diving. If I don't have him and have the money to rent a reg and tank (I've got all of my other gear) and IF it's not freezing and IF I can get the guts up to get in water that cold in a wetsuit, lol, I might dive. :)
