I have a new (4 months old) Dive Buddy EVO housing, when I go below 60 feet the buttons on the control handle only work about half the time. Sometimes it won't record, sometimes it won't turn off. All problems disappear at 30 ft. Today after not recording or turning off it turned back on in the rinse bucket. E-mailed Amphibico earlier today no answer from them yet. Any ideas?

TIA

Could be the springs. This can happen. I had it happen a few times at about 240', vs. 60'. Sometimes when it is crazy cold stuff goes a tiny bit awry too. This happens in other housings. I typically call Amphibico. Email can be a bit sluggish. Don''t worry, they are typically good at customer service.

Kinda new unit. I bought it 3 months ago, but had some troubles with the cable for the monitor back. This was my second attempt at using the housing, went to Key Largo to video Speigel and Duane. At this point I will wait to hear from them see what they say. If they can fix it then I will sell on e-bay and get a L&M or Gates.
