Meanwhile, I took a walk by the Gulf Saturday at Topsail park - here is what I saw...

I cropped them quite a bit - I stayed about 8 to 10 feet away. She was content to stretch out until I stood up and she coiled - I took three quick pictures and left her alone. It was pretty exciting seeing her out like that on the sand, but I was by myself and I'm not Steve Irwin, Crikey!
