Awsome Jason! where was this? just off Playa?

I was right beside him at 190ft. :D Viz way over 100ft!!!:D:D:D This is a sweet spot off Playa's coast. But freakin' deep! only deco diving for a decent bottom time. When I flash my computer we were at 157ft. and had 11 minutes of deco.

i am glad to see that there are some real sharks left in mexico although they are beyond my depth range.

Well, Spratman you're wrong on a few things. I was diving twin double AL 80's and had redundant everything. The dive was completely on air and, yes there was considerable deco times. I make this dive with one instructor with doubles per diver. And yes there is a serious screening process to make this dive with me. It IS deep, it IS dangerous,...it is NOT for everybody. :D Its absolutely no different than deep cave penetration. All the equipment and the tech side of it are about the same.

Wow.
WOW.
Everything- the shark, the vis, the depth...
I've been to 140' (following my DM following some yahoos), but that's a different ballgame. Kudos- I may have to come to Playa sometime instead of/in addition to Coz...
