Hello all,
I did manage to find some older posts on this but I don't know who's still available and what not... My dive partner of 3 years just up and decided that he didn't like diving anymore, so here I am...
I live in Rancho Cucamonga and would love to find a buddy that is available during the week. My work schedule and family demands dictate that the majority of my dives can't be on the weekends and besides, traffic and parking are so much easier to deal with when diving earlier or later during the week day.
Lobster season is my favorite time of year, so if there are any bug hunters out there that are raring to go PLEASE let me know - it's next week!
I am really in to hunting/gathering though I'm pretty new at it, so if you (all) do as well that would be great. Would love to learn from someone experienced or we could learn together...
Hope to hear from ANY of you soon!

Drew

I'm free to dive during the week... but I not a lobster hunter... Sorry!

Yeah...but I'm in Florida

I am free some times during the week. I travel a lot. I like bugs.... I dont shore dive much because my knees cant take it if I do get knocked down. I have a small boat. I have never taken any one but my son out with me.

But he is in school now and usally cant get away when I have time. My problem is I dont usally know when I have off. at least I only know one to two days at most in advance.

but we could try it sometime and see

Hey Drew, if you feel like making the trek out to Malibu we night dive almost weekly(although it's been tough lately) during the week and on the weekends in the morning. Our group ranges from 2 to 20+ divers depending on the event. www.bchcrabs.com

In Laguna, there is Southcoastdivers. com and Lagunaseasports.com. South Coast Divers dives as a group on weekends with one night dive per month, but if you hook up with them, you can probably get names of people who dive during the week. Laguna Sea Sports is the shop on PCH just above Shaw's Cove. They have at least a few regulars who dive during the week.

There is also ocdiving.com which is a bulletin board where you could hook up with someone.

I'm coming down to LA and looking to dive some weekday oct 3-5.
Looking for a dive buddy.
Just to warn you'all I'm a newbie! Got my cert in Dom Rep. in april and haven't been in open water since. And as expected I blow through air like a beginner too!
