mags, don't forget we still have tawi-tawi, jolo, basilan etc... zamboanga, tagum, mati and the rest of davao oriental i hear are fast catching up.

mati has good dive sites....?! coooooool.....!

we have this nice island 15 minutes from my hometown named refugio or sipaway island... heard there's good diving there. there's actually a diveshop in operations already.

but don't know who ended up diving there... its not as easily reachable as apo island or bohol or cebu..

now i wonder if they are keeping a very good secret...

hmmmmn... makes me think how many more dive sites around PI are still undiscovered.
veeeeeeery many...

remember most dive destinations are such because people bothered to put money to put up simple accomods and a dive op... like babyd is doing in culasi and other people are doing elsewhere...

7,107 islands and diving only on, what, 50? so many more to discover... and i wish they're still pristine and the gov't gets infrastructure there sometime before the 2nd coming

you're right. would absolutely be a waste to find out about it and we are either glowing in heaven or burning in hell....

i gotta check out that diving in refugio. :14:

Sipaway - now there is a great name for a tropical island destination if I ever heard one...

"Go diving, then grab a san Mig or Tanduay, and Sipaway the time..."

I'm a marketing genius, I tell you. Ahead of my time.
Z...

Thank you!
I ´d like to get back to the original topic. Around Talong (or Tulang) Island, there are some walls dived by shops from Mactan.
Actually, O. D. Camotes is operating since August. They are looking for wrecks.
All information will be appreciated.
As to Sipaway, there is a resort with dive centre (either Swiss or German).
Cheers,
Liberty

@Ding, you misread my post, please re-read them..

@Axua, I'll await your trip report from Camotes. You'll Camotes a lot, its very laid back and not much development on the island. For top side activities, there's quite a few caves to explore and there's Lake Danao as well.

and its not yet being eaten by tourism virus.
