How many rebreather divers are there on ScubaBoard? Which rebreather model are you using? Have you modified it at all? Do you use it with a backplate? Using Nitrox or Trimix?

I now only use a rebreather.. I wount go back to OC. I currently use an inspiration with air, trimix and heliox diluents. I feel SCRs are a waste of time and money.. Once you equip them with the proper electronics you are in the range of a CCR which has many more benefits..
The unit is stock... I will be adding the hammerhead electronics when they are available..
My next RB is on order... Infinito, its already several months late

When I searched the web the vast majority of the links are broken or in other languages.
Thats the one.. depending on configuration, the price is in the neighborhood of $20k

Just think of all the nice shiney new, working, and not vapourware Inspirations you could buy for that amount

NY dive businesses aren't doing that well... I have been saving money for the infinito since I saw it 3 years ago, its what got me hooked on RBs in the first place.. The inspiration was as inexpensive as you can start..
I wouldn't say they (infinito) are vaporware, they do exist (I have played with 1) they just haven't shipped many... I was told until they complete shipment on 2 military contracts, I have to wait. I like the inspiration but they also have a long wait.. its over 20 weeks now! and at my cost I could equip an entire dive team...
from what I have been told the Infinito has passed certification for 250M, Not that I would ever dive that deep 100M is enough for me...
I'll me in Malta next month (dec 15), there will be at least 1 infinito there, the designer of the infinito may also be present with his, and if he is he better have mine there otherwise I'll bust his chops for the entire week

250m rated!!! wow, your gonna need a submersible to carry all the bail out tanks for that one. Rather you than me. I'm planning a 125m dive year after next and that scares me enough (will be going the twinspiration route)
Waiting list is coming down in the yellow boxes, now season is over in UK. Frend of mine has been promised delivery 10 weeks after his order went in

T-t-t-twenty K yipes! They must mine for the minerals, melt, forge, and purify them, hand catch and separate the gasses, crush small animals and shells to paint it ... No wonder one waits so long to get one.
