Help Needed: Domestic Flight Booking Failure (CGK to KNG)

Need help with booking the flight (Lion Air, with a connection in Sorong) from CGK to KNG (Kaimana, Triton Bay) on Dec 22.

I used nusatrip website and got a message "Your Order Was Unsuccessful" after hitting the "book and pay" button. All the passenger and credit info was complete. I tried twice and got the same error message. Any idea what could be wrong?

I used the same website and the same credit card to book my flight from Sorong back to CGK (Batik Air) and had no problem.

How do you book domestic flights in Indonesia? I also tried to book it on Lion Air's website and had no luck.

I use Tiket.com, which is an Indonesian travel platform. You can also download and use Book Cabin, which appears to be the preferred platform for Batik/liin/Wings.

Reach out to nusatrips helpdesk. I’ve booked domestic Indonesian flights (Batik, Lion, Super Air Jet) earlier this year online and used credit card with them and it worked seamless. Now things can change. Their app was very unstable, the .com is recommended.

I was recommended Vifa Holiday - Indonesia Travel Agent | Bali Travel Agent - DMC Travel Indonesia by the dive resort while booking with them directly and just to get a first impression I did the flight booking for the CGK to Alor leg through them. My experience using them has been very good - they research all the possible flights and gave me options and even do the boarding pass and web check-in for you - everything communicated on WhatsApp. I didn’t have to login and spend precious time going through the web check-in process, just focused on packing my stuff and catching the taxi to the airport. It was like a personalized online digital valet service. It seems they also do diving LOB bookings for you, although I haven’t used those services yet. I recommend you try them out and just forget the hassle of doing everything yourself… Just tell them what you want on WhatsApp and go to the Pub!

Thanks Dan. Yes I contacted them after getting another failure and they told me it's an airline system problem, not a credit card problem. I will just have to wait and try again later. Well, I will keep trying and wish me good luck

Another very annoying quirk of Lion Air is that it will create a reservation in their system for you... but not accept your payment and will also not tell you the PNR of the reservation. So if you try and book the same flight again (because you have no confirmation from your attempt to reserve the flight)... the system will tell you that you already have a reservation in the system. So then you must contact them via Whatsapp to get the PNR so you can actually pay for the reservation. This has happened to me on several occasions with them.

For CGK to SOQ, yes, but not from SOQ to KNG.
