Yes - but McMaster-Carr don't ship to Australia - and we don't have an equivalent of them down here. It's not just understanding the quick disconnect sizes but also the hose size - because as you have previously found - the black spiral wire reinforced hose is not fit for purpose - for several reasons, and so I am going to fix all of the problems that Sitech have engineered into their product. I come from a background in subsea engineering - we fix all the problems that get sent to us before we put anything in the water - it makes for a much less stressful life. I think I've found a place where I can obtain a quick disconnect that has a 5/16" barb on the female and a 3/8" barb on the male part of the quick disconnect - so then everything will all match the size that they are connecting to.
For those wondering about Tygon tubing - this one from McMaster-Carr seems to have the best properties for the job including wall thickness, minimum bend radius etc - 5/16" I.D. with 3/32" wall thickness
McMaster-Carr - for those like me that can't get McMaster-Carr products delivered to them - this tubing is Saint Gobain Tygon A-60-G
