Does anyone have a link where I can purchase a charger for a Halcyon canister light? I have a light that was gifted to me but I don't know how to tell if it works prior to putting it up for sale.

Have you tried calling Halcyon directly? They usually keep a stock of parts for old lights.

That looks like a NIMH battery. If it hasnt been maintained for awhile - I'm guessing it hasn't since if was gifted to you minus a charger - then the battery is most likely dead.
The value for that light is the canister and lid. The 21w HID lighthead not so much. The battery can be easily upgraded to a li-ion though
