I did not really like the buttons on the side for some models, I found them too easy to turn on by mistake.
Thanks for your great support my man. If rank the using experience of dive light switches, which switches would be better?

My two cents on this:
My preference goes to the magnetic switch like the one on DL10R or DL06, even better if with a locking mechanism to avoid switching it on accidentally when stored.
If using a push button the best you can do, in my experience, is to create a protection ring around it, so that it cannot be switched on accidentally.
At work we use such a protecting ring on the critical buttons of race cars steering wheels , and it works pretty ok.
Ciao,

My request would be for a uv light option in a dl02 size. Laser pointer would be a cool addon
Got it! You are the good man. Could you show me more details? The uv light only would be prefer? Or both the main light and uv light? I will feedback it to Wurkkos factory.

I have a non-wukkos small secondary light which is always clipped to my BCD and it goes on every dive. The secondary light is no where near as powerful as the DL70, but the size makes it easier to clip to a BCD tuck it in with an elastic band and not have it dangle.
Thanks for your great support bro. The light size is the most point for secondary light? And how much lumens output at least?

Got it! That is undoubtedly the comment we most hope. Super enjoy your truly voice lol. Would you mind show me which model is and issue detail? We can solve it and good help for light upgrade. Also, If the order within 1 year, I will ask the sale store to provide the free warranty immediately.
Thank you for your reply and being engaging. I looked back on my purchase history and it was 2020 when I got the light. I don’t know that it matters because it was some time ago but this was a description from Amazon “Diving Flashlight, Waterproof Scuba Diving Light 18650 with Cree XHP35 HD LED 5300K 4 Modes 2000 Lumens Underwater150m/164yard with Battery”.
It lasted for less than one dive trip. With several brands available - I moved on from wurkkos after this negative experience and never tried them again.

Hope you will support this platform, if you use it!

I needed in short notice a divelight as my primary broke and budget was limited at that time / not sure which direction I will go.
I went with a DL30. Well its ok, used up to about 35m depth in fresh and cold water. Burntime and notification (short flash) for battery almost empty for that power setting is ok.
The switch is not my favourite for gloves. Also brightest setting will trigger a pcb protection from the battery, at least for 18650. The lamp came with an unprotected 21700, I have no protected 21700 to test with.

I do not like the spot. Its has a too large opening angle, and the corona is too bright. Burn time could be a bit better if taken into account the actual Lux values delivered.
Absolutely! Show me detail more about DL30 switch. Does it make you feel uncomfortable and twist it spend more strength? The opening angle is Wurkkos light feeble. We are constantly make it achieved. It's diffecult challenge so I can't give an accurate date now.

YEESSSS!! I have never thought that, we can make the protecting ring like race cars.

Hi from Germany ✌️ I have been following Scubaboard for a long time, but have now registered separately to answer here. I have the DL40, a nice bright lamp. However, the cone of light is too large. I dive here in Germany in the lakes and the visibility is usually not so good and the wide cone of light with the wide corona dazzles too much (backscatter). My buddy owns the DL70 and it is even worse that he can only use the lamp at the lowest level. A small spot without corona with ~ 7 ° beam angle would be great. I would also agree to compare my current lamp with one of your test models and show the whole thing underwater with pictures. Equipment for this is available, also a lux meter to measure the actual brightness.
If you are interested in seeing your lamps in poor visibility, please contact me.

Benny

I know it. Wurkkos WK20S your light is. Would you interested in make it alive again?

Its very easy to switch, so accidental change possible and little feedback with gloves. Also it is only a small ring, so again hard to fiddle around with gloves, and not possible to "feel" or see quickly the actual setting.
