Not many people have this computer yet. I just bought it today and hope to test it out soon. I previously had the Apeks DSX, but I wasn’t satisfied with it. For me, the display was too small, and the sound and vibration alerts weren’t as effective as I’d like. Secondly, for recreational diving, I don’t need a computer that costs $1,000-1,500, whether in dollars or euros. Especially since this computer has everything I need.
Some people complain that it has too much plastic, but is that really important as long as it does its job?

I read that the display might be too dim even at max brightness. Did you have any issues with that?

Quad air and quad ci are really different in functionality! Does the quad air do trimix?
no but i don't need anyway as most of the people out there that are not gonna buy that brand to do trimix.(between you and me not much people are doing trimix cause apparently the gas in expensive these days).
For me mares offer in general good quality computer for recreational diving but are not recognized to be tech computer.
Basically what i like about the quad is the big screen easy push button and easy navigation between menu. Only air and nitrox is ok for me.
I purchase the quad air cause i had a really good deal on it for some reason i discovered sherwater brand after most likely i will had buy one cause i like the integrated compass.
