Newly certified open water diver here, have some kind of strong addiction to diving already, finding myself wanting to go every day even though my life doesn't allow for it between work and kids and the wife.

In the Kitsap County area but willing to travel wherever in the area (Olympia, Seattle, Tacoma etc.)

Looking for a regular dive buddy any experience level, that is down to go out at least 2-3 times a week and if they are more experienced are also down to move at my slow pace and answer all my questions haha.

I'd consider joining the GUE community in Seattle. I'm not a GUE diver but have enjoyed joining their drop in dives on Wednesday night

So many options for you! The greater Seattle area has a great diving community. There are older groups, younger groups, photo groups, tech groups, harvesting groups, etc. It really depends on what you are looking for. There are several FB sites and Meetup sites for the different groups. I believe each dive site has a weekly diving group. Personally, I have several group that I dive with. One group more than others, but keep my options open due to schedules and family commitments. Your LDS should be able to give you several FB sites to visit to find the right group for you.

@toobam757, I'm in Port Townsend and try to get out at least once a week locally near PT. I work full time but can sometimes break away on a weekday if the tides and weather are good. Do you have all your own gear and tanks?

Strong recommendation for Silent World Dive Club. They are affiliated with Silent World dive shop, but every two weeks they do a free shore dive meetup. There's always DMs present, they pair people appropriate to ability, very chill, welcoming bunch. Been diving with them for a year+, just certified Rescue with their shop (in Bellevue).

I've got an LP95 I'll be selling for a very attractive price if you're shopping for something with some volume. Just surplus after getting a set of 85s

Hey! My partner and I are newish open water divers (got certified in Feb in South Florida and have 30+ dives each in FL since then). We're headed home (go back and forth from Seattle to Port Townsend) this week. We joined a bunch of groups around Seattle but would love a dive buddy in Port Townsend! Our drysuit cert class is April 19th in PT and we'd love to go out April 20th and maybe some dives that week in the area if you're up for it!

Yup, I should be around. Anytime on the weekends, or afternoons on weekdays. The currents are a bit goofy (as they are most of the time) so that will limit our choices of dive sites, but we'll find somewhere to go. PM me!

Who's teaching the drysuit class in PT? Presumably someone with the local shop, Octopus Gardens/YSS.
