So watches are a bit of a weakness for me.

I recently started diving with an actual dive watch.
I know that I can press a series of buttons on my computer if I want to know what time it is but I like to just glance down to see the time and I actually use the bezel for timing stops and fins it adds a level of precision to training.

I’ll put the nice band back on when I get home n get a pic for you, but here’s the standard rubber band
Here’s the eel skin band, for when I’m not in the water.

Huge watch fan. Dangerously so lol. Or so the Mrs. says. When we met I was an instructor and she bought me a Kermit as a wedding present. Don’t wear it as much anymore, treating it as an heirloom or special occasion piece. I’m kinda snobby on glass anymore. Won’t buy anything without sapphire. I also got into the micro brands. Love the Helms I have. Latest acquisition is this Citizen Aqualand.

To change tack, with so many people with dive watches the question is:
What watch do you wear every day?
I've worn my Steinhart daily since new (~15 years, ~$600 new, IIRC). It also serves as my bottom timer for my recreational dives here in MO/AR freshwater lakes. (I don't use a PDC.) I've never had it serviced, though, which is something i need to address soon, probably.

You all know these NATO straps, well we [Oz Navy] were making them before they became said name.
We took the brass from a Navy dive compass straps , the crotch strap from our twin set backpack [I still have some from over 40 years ago] and make a watch band.
I still have a few from the 1980s.
